Training & Placement Activities Of Textile Courses
DKTE is one of the preferred engineering Institutes by most of the textile organizations for recruitment of textile diploma students. Training and Placement Department is actively involved in arrangements of industrial training, summer internship. Department provides information and or counselling to clarify career goals, identifying path ways, resume preparation, interview preparation through soft skill training programme as well as arrangements of counselling session by Industry experts and Alumni’s, liaison with industries, arrangement of campus interviews etc.

Industrial Training
Industrial Training is a very important part of professional engineering education. All Diploma (DTM/DTT/DFCT) students are required to undergo training for the period of six weeks after Fourth Semester.
Training and Placement Department interact with all leading textile units for getting sanction. More than 100 textile units of various sectors like Spinning / Weaving / Knitting / Technical Textile / Garment Industries / Non-Woven / Yarn / Fabric Chem. Processing / Woven Processing / Knit Processing / Denim / Terry Towel / Garment Manufacturing / Marketing / Testing Laboratories / Garment Washing / Sewing Threads / Worsted are offering training facilities. To get the maximum benefits from this opportunities, industrial training is very carefully planned. The training programme has following components.
- Orientation Lecture:
During Orientation Lecture students are taught technique of learning what to learn, how to learn, etc. - Industrial Training Schedule:
Diploma (DTM/DTT/DFCT) = 06 Weeks in the month of May / June - Daily Diary:
Daily Diary prepared for student is unique feature of DKTE. More than 1000 guideline points are given in this diary. Students undergoing training are required to maintain daily diary regularly in systematic manner. - Assessment
Assessment of training performance PA and ESE is carried out as per the MSBTE guidelines .
International Internship
HOF University, Germany. Noize Jeans Bangladesh are offering internship facilities to diploma students .
Pre-placement Offers (Ppo) (Placement Based On Training Performance)
Leading organizations select Pre-Final Year students through campus interviews / telephonic interview for Summer Internship / Project. Final placement Offers will be given based on the performance during summer projects. Students selected under PPO will be blocked for appearing Campus Interviews.
International Placements
CGS Maseru, Lesotho , South Africa and Noize Jeans Bangladesh are conducting campus interviews for recruitment of diploma students
